Cardinals J.J. Watt to pay bettors parlay after bad call robbed him of a win You got screwe

[delmermollie]

NFL fans are often confounded when officials mi s calls during games, but at least one bettor had a reason to be miffed after the Cardinals vs. Rams game in Week 11.The bettor came very close to hitting athree-bet, same-game parlay that would have paid him $1,000. However, he wasn't able to get the defensive touchdown he needed from the Cardinals to have it paid out.But he should have.NFL POWER RANKINGS: Late in the second half of the contest, the Cardinals got pre sure on Rams quarterback Cameron Rising Jersey John Wolford as he operated within a two-minute drill. He was strip-sacked by Myjai Sanders, and that allowed J.J. Watt to scoop up the ball. However, he wasn't allowed to take it to the house, as the officials initially ruled that the play was an incomplete pa s. The replay booth eventually overturned it, but by rule, they can't count a return that happened after the whistle.NO DOUBT ABOUT IT MYJAI x Arizona Cardinals (@AZCardinals) As such, Watt didn't score despite having a clear path to the end zone. That left the bettor with that three-leg parlay annoyed, and he called upon Watt to help him out.MORE: Incredibly, Watt responded, and it appears that he will be sending something in the bettor's direction.Yeah you got screwed. (we both did )I got you.DM me your addre s. JJ Watt (@JJWatt) Whether Watt will give him the $1,000 he would have won or just give him some signed memorabilia remains to be seen (though we'd a sume it's the latter). Either way, it's a cool gesture from Watt as he continues to build goodwill with fans acro s the NFL.MORE: That said, it will also be interesting to see what the NFL will make of Watt getting involved in the gambling sphere while taking a minor shot at a mi sed call by the officials. It seems unlikely to make waves, but you never truly know with the NFL. Josh Thompson Jersey
